Cookie Policy

We use two first-party cookies, and — only after you consent — Google Analytics and LinkedIn’s ad retargeting pixel.

What we use

The two cookies below are first-party — set directly by matrecomm.com, never by a third party. Third-party tags (Google Analytics, LinkedIn) are listed separately below and load only with consent. We do not use Meta Pixel.

CookiePurposeDuration
mc_anonAnonymous visitor ID used to group page views into a session.1 year
mc_consentRemembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies.1 year

Third-party: Google Analytics & LinkedIn retargeting

We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage analytics, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure our LinkedIn ad campaigns and show you relevant ads on LinkedIn after you visit. Unlike the cookies above, these are set by Google and LinkedIn/Microsoft, not us — they only load after you accept the cookie banner, everywhere, not only where consent is legally required.

ProviderPurposeYour control
Google Analytics 4Aggregate usage analytics — which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. Set by Google, not us.Google’s opt-out
LinkedIn Insight TagAd retargeting and campaign measurement for LinkedIn ads. Set by LinkedIn/Microsoft, not us.LinkedIn’s opt-out

How consent works

If you browse from the EU, UK, or Switzerland, we ask before setting the cookies above or loading the Google Analytics and LinkedIn tags — you’ll see a banner on your first visit. Reject it and none of it runs; nothing is tracked, no retargeting pixel loads. Elsewhere, the first-party cookies and the third-party tags load automatically on your first visit. You can revisit this choice at any time — see “Controlling cookies” below.

Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we honour it — no cookies are set, no page views are recorded, and neither the Google Analytics nor the LinkedIn tag loads, regardless of region or prior consent choice.

Controlling cookies

Clear the mc_consent cookie to see the banner again and change your choice, or clear mc_anon and mc_consentto stop first-party tracking entirely. To block the LinkedIn tag specifically, reject the banner, or use your browser’s tracker-blocking settings against licdn.com and linkedin.com. None of this affects your ability to browse or contact us.

See our Privacy Policy for how any resulting data is stored and for how long.
